We had some great news about Kimberly last week that I forgot to blog on... Her new blood panels came back and everything is in the normal range... Our vet believes the great depth of neglect Kimberly encountered with her owner prior to being dumped at the shelter cause her liver to be inflammed, the body tried to heal itself and we just caught the whole situation in time... There's something about good karma that repeats itself back when you engage in doing good things in your passions... Had we not pulled Kimberly when we did from the shelter, get her the medical treatment when she needed it so much, she might not be with us today...
Kimberly has also gained a pound and a half with us on a good nutritional diet... She's still a major kissy-face pupper, but as sweet as she was in that poor state initially, she's even sweeter now that she feels great and is healthy again - WAY TO GO, KIMBERLY!
